On dental caries
Dental caries is a very common disease in all people, regardless of age, sex, race, etc.
The decay is characterized by the destruction of tooth enamel, which is progressive and penetrates into the tooth structure, which if it continues its evolution inevitably end up with the whole tooth.
Signs and symptoms are the formation of small holes, or small black spots which are progressing gradually.
The decay can progress quickly or take years to form a cavity result
Cavities are caused by direct action of bacteria on the teeth, this will not be an effective cleaning and food consumption that may lead more quickly this condition (such as sugars)
For treatment there are several very viable forms such as cleaning the room and placement of enamel or special resins (including fillings). recommended is done in the early stages of decay and so there will be no serious damage to the tooth, plus the cost of treatment will be much lower.
